| FULL LIVERY:
|
N.B. Most owners wish their horses to get as much good grazing as possible and therefore during the summer months
they go onto the "summer programme". However you may request that your horse stays on the "winter programme" throughout the year.

| WINTER PROGRAMME:
|
(Approx. October to May depending on weather conditions.)

| Horses/Ponies will be stabled at night. Straw bedding is provided in the cost of the livery. Shaving beds can be provided
at a cost of 5 extra per week. Stables will be mucked out each morning and skipped out each afternoon.
Horses/Ponies will have their rugs changed and be turned out each morning providing the weather/ground conditions are not too bad.
The yard supervisor on any given day will decide whether the conditions are suitable for turnout. Horses/Ponies will be brought in during
the afternoon, brushed off, feet picked out and have their rugs changed.
All hay and hard feed are provided in the cost if the livery.

| SUMMER PROGRAMME:

| Horses/Ponies will live out at night. During the day they will be brought in, brushed off, feet picked out.
All hard feed will be provided in the cost of the livery and it is presumed that grass will make up the majority of the hay ration.
However additional hay will be fed if necessary. The pasture will be maintained i.e. harrowed, rolled , topped etc.
except pasture for small ponies which must not be too well managed due to the risk of laminitis.

| THROUGHOUT THE YEAR:

Exercise will be provided free of charge by the following methods;
1. Horse/Pony used in student lesson.
2. Horse/Pony used to escort hack.
3. Horse/Pony hacked out for 1 hour by staff or student.

Lungeing or schooling of horses/ponies will be charged at a rate of 10 per hour exclusive of VAT.
Shoeing, veterinary care, worming, special bedding, special feed programmes and clipping services are not included in the above terms and are subject to extra charges to be negotiated with the proprietor of B.M.E.C.
