Summer Holidays Programme 2026.
Obviously lots of people are away at varying time and this includes ourselves and the staff. Hence we will be running a set schedule of activities.
We will be running a number of ‘Pony for a Morning’ sessions. These will be suitable for any children/teenagers that normally ride in a 1 hour group.
10am – 1 pm Participants will have their own pony/horse to look after for the morning. Riders will bring their own pony in, groom and tack up before a 1 hour riding session. Followed by a stable management topic.
We think these sessions will give a better opportunity for riders to improve their all round horsemanship skills.
The cost for these sessions will be £48. The A.B.R.S. have introduced a number of new topics to their rosette awards and we will be working on some of these.
For children that are normally in half hour lessons we will be running ‘pony afternoon’ sessions. These will be 2pm – 4pm. The cost for these sessions will be £45. These sessions will include both riding and stable management.
Again, we will work towards ABRS rosette awards. We have also put some half hour lessons within the schedule.
If a rosette award is achieved then there will be an additional £5 charge to collect the rosette.
A non returnable £10 deposit is required to book onto these activities.
Children can join one or more of these sessions.
There will also be some limited availability for adult half hours/shared lessons and we’ll aim to get riders into groups of at least 2.
If we are able to accommodate any private lessons these will be charged at £52 for 30 mins.
If your usual lesson isn’t happening then the best likelihood of availability is at the weekends.
Lessons may be amalgamated if numbers are low.
